Let me be completely honest here. I've had a traumatic birth once. I know the potential risks. I'm hoping for the best but being realistic. I don't wish to set up a nursery or have a bunch of pink onesies around, in the event that something should go wrong. That is why I prefer to wait until after delivery to accept any gifts. I appreciate your understanding.
That said, I am registered with Target.
The very best gift you can give me and the baby are your daily prayers that the condition will resolve itself and that I have a healthy pregnancy, baby and delivery.
Things I Really Need List
- Pregnancy and post delivery support (help with cooking, cleaning, babysitting Joseph, errands, etc.) as I'm on restricted activity in addition to pelvic rest, due to spotting.
- Friends on call in case of emergency. If you can be on call, let me know.
- Diapers, Preemie-any size or brand.
- Wipes, any. non-allergenic/unscented preferred.
- Disposable bottle liners and nipples for Playtex Drop-Ins bottles.
- Medical supplies: gauze, Pedialyte, maxi-pads... hey, just keeping it real.
- Gift card(s) to Peapod/Stop&Shop or anywhere, preferably pharmacies and supermarkets
- Several room gates (for doorways/stairwells)
- An electric breast pump
- An affordable washer and dryer
- An air purifier
